Following the identity for GSAPP’s academic year, the end of year show places emphasis on “the end” and combines fonts referential to late antiquity, the dark ages, the enlightenment and the industrial revolution, nodding towards the cataclysmic era in which we find ourselves as a result of geopolitical regime change, looming general artificial intelligence and climate collapse. Measurements along the margins of deliverables keep a diary of my garden in the summer, using moon phases as a unit of measure. Whenever I think about the end of the world I look at the moon and think of an infinite being named Qfwq gathering lunar milk peacefully just before the moment of impact with the Earth’s surface.
